Background
My name is Joe Walker. I've been playing and teaching guitar for over a decade, and in xxxx I earned my Master's degree in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University. I grew up in the Seattle area and started playing in xxxx. In the years since, I've studied, performed, and taught alternative rock, punk, grunge, classic rock, pop, funk, metal, blues, folk, country, and jazz. I write two guitar blogs: Deft Digits Guitar Lessons, filled with lessons and advice for all students of the guitar, and From the Woodshed, which chronicles my own study of music.
I'm currently accepting guitar students at a great location in the Laurelhurst area. To sign up for lessons, please email or call me via the info above or contact me through my website, DeftDigits.com.
