For sale I have this vintage xxxx's CONN Theatre Organ.
The model no. 642. The serial no. is xxxx16. Finish: 013.
Style: 001. Type: 001. Volts: 115. Cycles: 60. Watts:155.
Maximum line power to speaker: 5 amps. Made in Madison, IN. USA by the Conn Organ Corp. in Elkhart, IN.
This organ has been in my family for almost 50 years. It's always been kept in a dry and non smoking environment. It's in very nice condition for it's age. It's been cared for really well. The finish has some nicks and marks on it here and there. I would guess that it would need a tune up. Since I don't have an ear for the organ I can't tell if it does need a tune up. All the different keys and percussion buttons sound nice and loud. The organ measures 4 feet and 9" long. It's about 29" wide and 41" tall. You'll also receive the original bench and manuals on how to play it. I also have music books to learn Bach, Tschalkowsky and more that I'll throw in for you.
This organ would be ideal for a local church or perfect in your basement so you can enjoy yourself. You would have to come up with a truck and a way to transport it as well as the man power.
