Essential Job Functions, Abilities and Behaviors
- Think, write and speak clearly; position requires strong command of the English language.
- Inspect properties in the field; interview multiple market participants. Position requires travel to multiple market areas throughout Washington.
- Communicate regularly with supervisor on job status, issues and delays.
- Analyze data and produce reports in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate strong mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
Minimum Requirements
- College Education: Bachelor's degree required (preferred areas of study include but are not limited to business administration, urban planning, accounting, statistics, English, philosophy, journalism, or engineering). Master's degree in any of these fields a plus.
- Work (or Educational) Experience: Experience with research and report writing required.
Employment Requirements
- Register as a State of Washington Appraiser Trainee (dol.wa.gov/business/appraisers)
- Take the 75:hours of state required appraiser trainee courses.
