Established company is looking for a motivated individual for HVAC consumer sales position. The position gives you the opportunity to sell high tech products to consumers. Previous experience in customer service or sales a plus. Income potential of $200,000 + benefits per year. Evenings and Saturday availability is required.
HVAC Outside Sales Consultant
Work Hours: 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, some weeknights and weekends.
Primary Job Function: To present the company to potential clients in a manner that leaves a favorable impression thereby obtaining sales for the company that are competitive and profitable.
Reports To: Sales Manager and/or Owner
Compensation: $600 per week, commissions and high efficiency/accessory sales spiffs, paid weekly. This position has the potential of $200,000 per year income.

-40 hours vacation time (first year, 80 thereafter)

Daily Duties:
1. Keep appointments with customers as scheduled
2. Inform customers of all special promotions, the benefits of high efficiency equipment and optional equipment/products
3. Offer financing on all proposals
4. Present a proposal at the time of the first call, always present the proposal in person, never mail or fax this to the customer
5. Give sales presentations as outlined in company selling process, use company technology and showroom programming.
6. Return to completed jobs for quality checks, ask for referrals
7. Turn in all required paperwork to the Sales Coordinator within 24 hours of the customer signing the contract. This includes a picture of the job and all necessary notes, drawings, etc. to adequately communicate the job to the installation department. Use email to speed this process
8. Be available to answer questions that may arise
Performance Indicators:
Certain key business indicators will measure the effectiveness of the Sales Consultant position.
1. Frequency of meeting target revenue goals
2. Customer satisfaction
3. Consistently strive for referrals on all jobs, within 12 months 25% of the Sales Consultant leads should be generated by referrals
4. Accessory sales and high efficiency equipment related jobs should equal 75% of the individual Sales Consultant totals within 9 months
