EVRAZ North America is currently seeking experienced Inside Sales Representatives with industrial or manufacturing sales and customer service expertise. This position will be based in Portland, OR . EVRAZ North America produces more than 5 million tons annually of steel plate, rail, wire rod and rebar, and pipe for major markets including infrastructure like rail, bridges and roads, as well as energy, commercial construction and defense. We are a subsidiary of EVRAZ plc - one of the largest vertically integrated steel and mining businesses in the world. Headquartered in Chicago, the company currently operates manufacturing facilities in Portland, Ore.; Pueblo, Colo.; Regina, Saskatchewan; and Calgary, Camrose and Red Deer, Alberta. EVRAZ North America also owns 20 metal scrap recycling facilities. Job Description and Responsibilities As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for: Order solicitation, pricing, quotations, order write up, expediting, claims processing and telephone work Taking responsibility for special accounts and projects Develop relationships with actual and potential customers to enable EVRAZ to secure the greatest volume of profitable sales Keeping current on industry trends including pricing, product development, policies, company changes and reports significant information to sales management and outside sales representatives Job Requirements BS in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or commensurate experience Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with opposing opinions and effect compromise Customer Service oriented A well-organized self-starter, capable of effectively budgeting time to meet priorities Time Management skills demonstrated ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy and functionality 3 to 5 years of industrial or manufacturing sales and customer service expertise, preferably metals related Computer literate with experience in spreadsheet, word processing, time management and presentation software (Microsoft preferred) Must be able to travel on occasion, as required Willing to work extended hours to meet objectives Must have a professional appearance EVRAZ is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Individuals with Disabilities, and Veterans.
