WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Sales Engineer will report to our Sales Manager of Industrial Sales and will be tasked with achieving agreed sales targets by developing, maintaining and managing new business throughout their territory, comprised of WA, ID and MT. They will be responsible for industrial accounts, forestry accounts, aerospace accounts, LUBRITECH accounts and other metalworking accounts. They will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Maintaining and enhancing existing client base through periodic visits and relationship building
Adding new business to the territory on a consistent basis
Assisting customers in troubleshooting
Monitoring competitors within accounts as to performance and pricing issues
Ensuring that all account receivables are in order
Presenting a professional image to our clients and prospects
To provide market intelligence and regular reporting on the territory, accounts, competitors, and any other relevant topics as required by management.
To participate in any scheduled sales meetings and trade shows as required.
WHAT WE EXPECT
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business; technical degree strongly preferred
Two years industrial experience required
Strong problem-solving aptitude and customer focused attitude essential
Proven business-to-business sales experience in a technical field strongly preferred
Experience in the Aerospace or Metalworking industry and other specialty lubricants markets strongly preferred
Ability to travel as needed within the assigned territory
