Job Description: Inside Sales - Commercial Glass Renton, WA Velocity's client, a leader in the commercial glass industry, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to add to our successful Service Sales Team. The Service Team is a vital component of the organization and experiences a high volume of orders on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The Inside Sales Representative is a full-time position and is perfect for someone who has experience in the construction/glazing industry, enjoys working in a team atmosphere (but likes to work independently), has prior customer service/sales experience, and is looking for a company to make a home and grow within. Knowledge of glass & glazing systems, commercial hardware and architectural metals or related experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (included but not limited to)First point of contact for potential sales.Answer incoming phone calls.Create lasting relationships with clients.Respond to customer requests within defined timeframe.Source and price materials.Interpret glazier field notes.Estimate material and labor costs.Provide proposals to customers.Process work orders.Coordinate labor needs.Procure materials.Review contract documents.Track progress and provided estimates.Process invoices and billing. Qualifications:Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.Computer Friendly. Efficiency in MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel) and Accounting Programs. Experience with Spectrum is a Plus!Customer Service --Responds promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance. Meets commitments.Planning/Organizing -- Prioritize and plans work activities, is efficient and organized.Multi-tasking is a key component to success.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Self-motivated, with high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
