The AWS Marketing team is responsible for providing a first class web experience for our customers looking to find out more about our services. As a Pricing TPM for AWS Marketing, you will be responsible for the overall program of displaying pricing data on our public facing web properties. In this role, you will drive and deliver multiple complex pricing related projects. You will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making trade:offs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will provide technical leadership that gets software applications built and integrated into the ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders across various design, software and business teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long term product roadmaps. You will also work both our internal engineering teams and manage external vendors to build out these solutions with a focus on high operational excellence. A successful candidate will be well versed in what it takes to take a large scale, high traffic, high impact marketing website to the next level. This role requires having a proven track record in delivering website projects plus excellent problem solving, project management, and communication skills. Responsibilities:Be a guardian of world:class customer experience for your deliverables: continually raise the bar on functionality, flow, consistency, usability, and simplicityManage and deliver web marketing projects from inception to launch to maintenanceBuild and maintain a complete project schedule, make it constantly visible to management and key stakeholders, and drive projects through to completionAct as the technical interface between the business and the software development/web design teams. Understand the product and know the right questions and whom to ask.Run in front of the software development team, helping define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions, and provide guidance to the team regarding architecture, design, and prioritiesTranslate feature requests into technical specifications and influence design and architectural decisionsWork with the business to scope technical software projects with an understanding of website operations (maintenance, deployments, analytics)Help make the right feature trade:offs to ship software without compromising customer experience or business relevanceEngage with many teams across the company, evangelizing the team and your project, building relationships and helping identify existing components and technologies that can be leveraged to deliver on our goalsRepresent the technical team and deliverables to senior leadership across the company5+ years of technical project management experience in a related industryWorking knowledge of current front:end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3 / SASS, JavaScript / jQuery / AJAX, responsive media queries)Experience delivering features on large scale, high traffic marketing websites and web applicationsExperience with the entire software development lifecycle from inception to production deployment and maintenanceStrong knowledge of implementing web analyticsAbility to manage multiple parallel projects and delivering quality releases on scheduleStrong communication skills, specifically with explaining technical concepts to a non:technical audienceStrong ability to build relationships across multiple external groups to gain consensus on moving towards goalsBachelors degree or equivalent experience requirePrevious experience managing technical programs in a marketing organizationPrevious experience working in a marke
